We are excited to be starting design on yet another Midcentury renovation in Swampscott. A block from our most recent midcentury project, and designed in 1951 by the same original architect, David Abrahams Associates, this house commands a large footprint on a 3/4 acre site, yet, as is common with unrenovated midcentury houses, lacks modern amenities, has small bedrooms by today's standard, and has a deteriorating exterior envelope. Our design adds a master suite in a new story above the curved living room, expands the garage, and renovates the main living space. More to come.
